Downtown Albany, 8th Annual Fill the Boot Day.

On Friday, September 24, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., the Albany firefighters, Local 845, will be partnering with the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) conducting the "Fill the Boot" fundraiser. 

Albany firefighters will be at 9th and Ellsworth greeting motorists with their boots so that anyone passing by can donate money.  All of the monies collected will go to the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA).

This is the eighth year that the Albany Firefighters have participated in this program.
