The Heartland Humane Society will be sponsoring DogtoberFest on Saturday, October 23rd. This great new event features a PetWalk, starting at the new Downtown Dog Park, and finishing over at Downward Dog. There will be kids events, food, beer from Block 15, and a dog wash!

The PetWalk will start bright and early at 10:30am. It'll be $25 to register, which will also get you a t-shirt (while supplies last). Proceeds go to help Heartland help our less fortunate furry friends, of course!

DogtoberFest starts at 11am on First Street, right outside the Downward Dog. It's $5 per person, or $15 for the whole family, and that gets you in for tons of fun! If you're hunting for something to do with your kids and furry friends this weekend, don't miss out on the PetWalk and DogtoberFest!
